The 2022 vintage is a selection from the same 2 vineyards around the Kasteelberg and Riebeeksrivier areas used in the last 3 vintages. Extremely low yields again give this wine a very unique texture only found on the schist soils around the Kasteelberg. Fermented and matured in well seasoned 400l French oak for 10 months before bottling with minimal filtration
A typically restraint nose of yellow fruit, citrus and hay backed by lovely acidity and a dry, pithy finish.
